Chaitanya Lingam--
the first person i saw in SIT..during admissions..Also one of the first i spoke to ..in class the very first day..and from that time on i dont remember a day i din see him..i think of lingam and all that comes my mind is the good times we had..the memories just flow through the mind..the fun we had in class sitting in the last bench( whenever he attended) ,going to the internet cafe after college,chatting for hours at stretch, the night long timepass sessions in hostel , talking bout all kinds of things possible..our trips down to bangalore whenever anyone of us felt like,whatever time may it be..the little sessions all the us used to have..there are just so many things that come to the mind..this guy has left me with so many brilliant memories ..like this one time in class..lingam, myself and a couple others started singing Happy Birthday for a guy in the middle of lecture..got blastings from the lecturer for almost an hour..And then talked our way thru and partied in class with the same prof..its still so fresh on our minds..this other time when pratik made a bakra out of lingam..he took lingam all the way to bangalore on the pretext of meeting this person whose chat id read 'devilsteardrop ' ..it was all so much fun..because of the sport he was..
there is so much to write about him..but as the instances comemind..they make it that much more difficult to hold back the tears..
there r 3 ways of doing things,the right waythe wrong wayand the MY WAY -- he wrote in his first year hostel room..
- and he did things the 'MY WAY'.
chitanya lingam--a Friend to everybody..not one person who feels otherwise.. he has left all of us with such sweet memories.. extremely jovial & fun loving guy, absolutely carefree, great buddyand a brother.. RIP chaitanya..

ABOUT HIM: I remember seeing Chaitu in the group years ago but never really speaking to him. He seemed like such a quiet person. Years later, on a trip to Goa, I realised how much he'd changed. He was still quiet (in my mind, that was part of what made him.. 'him') but he was playing pranks and cracking jokes. He had the most infectious smile, one that made everyone around him smile and that's how I'll always remember him.

MET HIM: I think we might've played cricket togethermuch earlier in Indiranagar, but my best estimation ofwhen I met Chaitu personally is 1997, when I joinedCotton's for my ISC. He and a lot of the others(Harsha, Amit, Varun, etc.) were our juniors and weused to spend a lot of time together. ABOUT HIM : Since Chaitu was away studying most of thetime, my best memories of him are from last summerwhen I was on vacation back home. A few of us wouldmeet up every other day at my place or IndiranagarClub and catch up on all the lost time. We hadwonderful times and although Chaitu was usually thequiet one, he was a vital part of our group. Our tripsto Goa were some of the most memorable times of mylife. All in all, Chaitu was a good guy at heart andit was difficult for anyone not to get along with him.

ABOUT HIM :Chaitanya ,Chaitu or Cramer as he was lovingly called was a friend to call, as far as a i remember there was not a single person who had anything bad to say about him.He was an innocent,sweet and wonderful friend.There are a number of instances where he had made us all laugh not with his jokes but his innocent behavior.He would try something and something eles would happen! Although fate cruelly snatched him away early,I am still thankful to the almighty for one thing...he gave us someone who was so special a companion,in this beautiful journey called life! TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF LATE CHAITANYA LINGAM -Father, Mother, Sister, Friends and All Relatives.

Destiny has abruptly taken away our most beloved Chaitanya Lingam from the midst of us through a very tragic accident. Chaitanya although you are not physically present with us, you were, you are and you will ever remain in our minds as the most considerate and loving person, we had ever met. We never considered you as a seperate entity. You are in our minds, thoughts, hearts, eyes and infact you are part our system itself and nothing can take you away from there. The name given to the relation between you and us is Father/Mother/Sister/Friends/Grand Father/And so many names. But to put it simply you are more to us than any thing else in this world. If anyone asks us whether you will remember Chaitu, we will say NO because remembering comes when you forget a person. When we can never forget Chaitanya where is the question of remembering. At this hour of grief, we are unable to put our thoughts into words. The only thing we intend to say is We Love You Chaitu. We always love you. You will ever remain with us.
